The Ocean City Berlin Optimist Club donated $2000 to Showell Elementary School.  $1500 for their “Supply Closet” that allows teachers to procure instructional materials  for their lessons so they do not have to go out and spend their own monies for these items.  $500 was donated to the Showell Afterschool Jazz and Ballet Program that enables students to discover confidence, resilience, and joy through movement.  Pictured (l-r)  Optimist member and BIS Principal Dr. Amy Gallagher and Showell Elementary School Principal Ryan Cowder.
