The 2024 topic for the International Essay Contest was “Optimism” How it Connects Us”.

The Winners for 2024 were: First place $500 Brooke Berquist, Stephen Decatur HS; Second place $350 Emily Knight, Pocomoke HS, Third place $150 Abby Douglas, Homeschooled.

The 1st place winner, Brooke, will have her essay submitted into the District Level to compete for a Scholarship Award of $2,500.
